Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the west in an excellent game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about any other, more skillful people winning their cash.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, rookies are able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.

It is also easier to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
