Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about other, more experienced individuals winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make hasty choices.

It is also easier to bet on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the house receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
