Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other players attain five cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s first card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
