Web poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is akin to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with an amount equal to the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays out money equal to your wager and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
